Our sensors monitor ambient and humidity parameters as standard but can be fitted with additional probes allowing you to monitor the following parameters:
The Cold-Chain system consist of both hardware and software. The main hardware element is a power and internet connected Gateway (GW) that can connect to a number of small battery operated wireless temperature and humidity Sensors. In turn the Sensors can be enhanced with several optional probes.
The GW is placed and connected in the building where monitoring is required and is then registered online to the clients Cold-Chain account.
The physical placement of the GW is flexible because the wireless coverage is much larger when compared with normal Wi-Fi loggers. The GW has a clear line of sight range close to 1km, typically 3 times greater than you would experience from a Wi-Fi access point.
Each Sensor is paired to the GW creating a fully linked and encrypted network. After pairing the Sensors can be placed where monitoring is required and data is collected every 15 minutes.
The battery life of a Sensor is typically more than 2 years and the system will alert the user when and before a Sensor needs battery replacement (2 X standard AAA batteries).
Once the system hardware is installed you are able to manage all the device names and alarm thresholds and user access from within the cloud portal allowing complete and remote system rollout.
The Cold-chain cloud portal allows simple and secure visualisation of your real-time and historical data.
Alarm thresholds can be simply set above and below a value with time delays.
If a sensor goes into an alarm state and email/s are sent and push notification/s pinged to user specific smart devices. Optional automated calls can be actioned.
All alarm events are recorded and reported along with note of actions taken.
